For all you race rocket fans!!! Check this out!!
Being a huge fan and former owner of a Yamaha R series rocket, they have yet again amazed me. They release the 2004 Yamaha YZF R1. This is one serious machine. When you sit there and think to yourself there is no possible way they could make a stock bike faster they come out with this baby.
180 Horsepower Monster
2004 Yamaha YZF R1
Enjoy I know when I by it I will.

I don't think I'll buy one. I'm a stupid rider, so I would probably kill my self on a bike like that.
But that is definately a Man's Bike!

[QUOTE=Kato]Shredz.....what does "first straight line street bike"
mean?
Really really fast in the 0-100-0.
not so much focused on the ease of use.
jesus, that thing has more hp than my car. by a lot.

That is exactly right. The Busa is known for its straight line speed like the quarter mile drag. Where as the other competetors ie: Yamaha R6 R1, Suzuki GSXR 600 and 750 and Kawi 600 and 750 and Honda 600 and 954. These bikes have the power to go with the handling.

Hey guys, looking to grab a bike in the near future, I'm leaning towards the Yamaha r6 or the '03 Suzuki GSXR 6000 - By the way I'm a beginner rider, what would best suit me?

Such a nice bike. I almost bought one but ironically, I smashed into a drunk driver in my mustang the night before. Made me decide not to get one. Plus, I crashed EVERY car I owned even a few I didnt. I would die assuredly on that bike.

That's a sweet bike, I can appreciate sport bikes but they look so uncomfortable to ride.. Give me a big V-Twin anyday I love the hum of straight open drag pipes setting off car alarms wherever I go LOL! Maybe one day I'll get a sport bike, but that's some wicked power bro... very nice!!!
