anyone play any sweet multiplayer games they can recommend ?? am getting quite bored around here, plus it's been raining all day. so, would like to buy a game that i can play online. was thinking War III. already have Unreal Tourney - the original.

Operation Flashpoint is the most detailed and realistic war game I have played. It has been out for a couple of years so the graphics are not as good as newer games like battlefield 1942 but it still kicks but for realism. Also, you won't need to have the newest video card which is a plus. If you give it a try let me know and we can join an online game together.

Half life is a great one. A lot of mods out for it, biggest ones being Counter Strike and TFC.

My games: Counter-strike, Star Wars Galaxies. Jedi Outcast, Diablo 2, Red Alert 2 etc. Don't spend much time on games anymore.

I played ultima online for a while and everquest for a while.. couldn't deal with paying for everquest once the free sub ran out... and no time for UO anymore. I'll play a little diablo II once in a while.

I haven't tried either of those, and i love MMRPGS.. the only problem is that i'm easily addicted to them. Bad news for my gpa if i still want to lift and see my girl as much as i do. Not to mention they'll take away from my AR time.

I played Asheron's Call for a long time, just sold my stuff this week actually. It kicked EQ, DAOC, and Shadowbanes ass in my opinion, but alas its old...

Yeah AC2 sucked BAD. I was on the beta testing of it and I quit like 2 weeks into it, it was not worth the time... Never tried UO...

Have you given "Rainbox Six 3 Raven Shield " a try? I've played it a few times online, but have much more fun shooting my .457.

I'm not much of a game player, but thought I'd offer a kind suggestion.

I am all about Warcraft III, but now you have to get the Frozen Throne Expansion pack, cause there aren't that many people left playing the old one, everyone is on Frozen Throne, Its badass and well worth it, but
If you do get it I recomend reading the info and help stuff on the blizzard battlenet site or you will just get killed all the time,

also it can get addicting and keep you from accomplishing things,

Nothing has ever come close to beeing as fun as

1. Starcraft!!!
2. TOTAL ANNIHILATION
3. The mod Action Quake 2(counter strike is nothing compered to AQ2)

when it comes to multiplayer,
They might be old as dirt(especialy TA) but ohh man do they rock.

Diablo 2 is utter shit compered to Diablo.

Baldurs gate rocks to play with a friend or 2. Never had as much fun with any game.

But the time I spent on Starcraft ohh man. Makes me want to cranck out that old game and give it a go again.
