    Music in the gym

    What kind of music do you guys like listening to when gettin a pump in the gym... Mostly hardcore music in the gym to get me really pissed of but every one is different.

    I love hardcore, Grindcore, anything to get my pissed...some hardcore rap...But i love Hatebreed, GNR, Slipknot, SNapcase, DMX, before i go to the gym. This thread has been done many previous times before...heres one from before http://anabolicreview.com/vbulletin/...ighlight=music

    I like piano music.

    Yeah I'm a smart ass.....deathmeatal, hardrock, anything with screaming in my ears.......well not talon screaming about me not wiping sweat of the equipment.

    I've tried it all....... must say that rap does it for me. I would've thought high nrg stuff would but it's just too fast. My mp3 player is mostly 50cent eminem and notorious big.

    Yeah, it's gotta be hardcore but sometimes this pussy ass motherfucker plays pop and easy listining. It works though. I get so pissed off when they play that shit that I actually lift better...WTF??

    My gym is actually part of a club where they play some sort of bump-and-grind-disco music you could dance to if you weren't fucking someone's brains out. For some odd reason, it seems to be suitable to pumping iron . . .
    Have no idea who the artists are, no idea what songs they're playing . . . it's just background music engineered for physical activity. After a few minutes you know it's there, but you don't really notice it. Best of any gym I've been in . . .

    download some stuff by "nightwish" its opera rock. my 3 fav songs are

    nightwish - gothic santuary
    nightwish - crownless (fucking insanly fast song)
    nightwish - wanderlust (another fast song)

    it has killer drum beats and violins and some chick singing, and guitars... its quite badass imo

    I forgot my MP3 player today...

    I was stuck listening to top 20 pop garbage... thought I was gonna puke.

    But what really put me over the top was when I used the Hammer Strenght shoulder press machine... it's right next to the kiddy-corner (small daycare area), which had a Barney video playing at top volume...

    Nothing quite like doing presses to "I love you, you love me" and "Sninnirikidink" (ugh!)

    Yeah my gym constantly keeps the radio turned to a station call "the river" easy listening. About two weeks ago I heard them play "the circle of life" from the lion king. I was at the mall buying a headset the next day.

    Metalica did an albulm, S&M, with the San Frisisco synphany behind them. It sounded pretty good so I can see where you are comming from.
