Okay so... something with my internet is messed up. Everytime I open up a website the window for it comes up really big and goes off the sides of my screen. Does anybody know how to change this?! It was always this way but somebody put a picture on my desktop as the background and after that my interent sites started opening up all big. So... if anyone knows how to fix what's wrong I'd appreciate a hint!!

what OS do you have? xp pro, home, 98, me??? right click ur start bar, like the main open area of it...click toolbars up top, scroll over and click "address" and then in it type about:blank and click go. then goto tools>internet options> and change ur homepage to default or whatever u had it to. if that doesnt work then i dunno....

you can change your resolution (screen size) by right clicking and selecting properties. the box that pops up - far right, Settings. move the slide bar left to make it smaller, right to make it bigger (which gives you more room)

try making the resolution bigger first, then open up a box so that you can drag the edges to a smaller dimension. then close it, and change your resolution back to what you had it at. this should work on changing the size of the windows that open up.
or you could just live with it and double click the active title bar every time a window opens to enlarge it.

i gave u the correct answer, this is what it should look like and u will be able to type in about:blank THEN the window will open and u can go into tools internet options and so on, tools is on ur window top...

reboot and hold f8 ass soon it like goes to the bootup screen where its saying all the numbers in ur comp and stuff, then it should bring up a screen like "safe mode" and blah blah blah, choose reboot again and then hold f8 again then when it comes to that screen choose reboot with last known working config or something like that....
