You'll just have to do what I do; when the alarm goes off, swing your feet over the side of the bed and stand up. Don't just lay there or you'll never get out of the bed.

i think its animal instinct, i feel much lazier in cold weathers than hot. i'll try to do more warm up sets, that helps a little

yes i def. agree............i think it's normal tho.......notice how the gym always picks up when the spring starts.........and when the summer ends, fall starts and around the holidays it slows down a little..........then picks up again after the new year.........i guess its just mental.......when you see people on the beach, shorts, tank tops.....is makes you want be in better shape....but in the winter its just sweatshirts, jackets........no one really sees...i guess......and the days seem shorter.......ugh......i hate when it startS getting dark @ like 4, 5pm......... ........but anyways......not me, this winter..........i promised myself i'm gonna work even harder.....gotta be in sick shape for next summer...........

Hell no, not me. I love the cold, I want to work out when it's cool outside. In the summer I don't want to do a damn thing, the heat and humidity make me so lazy and tired.

In the cold weather I feel way more energetic. Especially doing cardio....in the cold I can run or cycle for hours. Dunno why, I have always thought it it was because it seemed like breathing hard in the cold is easier.

Winter is the time I get a lot done. My motivation doesn't tend to be too directed by the weather/season/climate. I try to keep hittin' it if I am in Maui, the Mediterranean, or Vancouver BC.

Well, here in San Diego "Winter" means 75 degrees instead of 80. But it gets "real cold" (like 45-50) at night sometimes, which is really sweet. I always love getting up and it's cold out, gets me pumped up.
So the short story is, if you don't like the cold, move to Sunny San Diego!

I get sad when it's winter.. I think it has to do with the lack of sunlight. Less sunlight= less serotonin = worse mood.

The only thing good about winter is hunting season. Once I go deer and quail hunting about 6-7 times it could go ahead and warm up and I'd be fine.
