    Remeron and blowing loads?

    Im on my second week of remeron now and it has done wonders for me, the depression is almost completely gone and for the first time in years I feel normal and more stable.

    Only side effects I have noticed is that I am a bit more aggresive and sometimes it takes ages to blow a load when spanking the monkey Anyone else on remeron noticed this?

    Thanks to all bros that responed to my earlier depression threads, I should have followed your advices a long time ago!!

    Is remeron a new one?

    My friend at work just told me about a new SSRI that is supposed to have very low sexual sides. That might be worth checking out. I forget the name, but I believe it started with and "L" - or had an "L" near the beginning. It is the new version of Celexa, if that helps. Does anyone here know what this is, or have experience with it?

    My doc told me remeron pretty new and have very few sides, I havent noticed any other sexual sides then the one I mentioned. Would just be good if I had a gf

    Its good that you don't have many sides. The only reason I mentioned the other drug, is because my friend was experiencing the same symptoms. He could perform, but had a hard time reaching the "finish line." This led to a lower interest in sex - he said why would you want to have sex if you can't cum? Makes sense to me. Anyway, when he told his doctor about the problem, the doc switched drugs to this new one.

    I am interested to see if anyone knows anything about it, because my wife is having similar sides with zoloft. I didn't even know until I told her about my friend's situation. "So . . . that's why I have had such a hard time getting a piece." She has an appointment to see her doc, but I am intersted to hear some feedback on this.

    They've done a lot of research lately as to exactly how ssri's increase brain serotonin levels. They think it does so by actually creating new neurons in the hippocampus. If that's true, then ssri's would only be needed for a certain amount of time, and then can be discontinued, as the neurons in the region responsible for pleasure (the hippo) have been made to supplement the deficiency. Just figured you guys would be interested to hear this.

    ive always been wary of drugs that claim to increase serotonin levels and have the result be permament. Still, its worth checking into. Chrisadams where did you read this? could you send me the link or something so I can read up on it? thanks bro!

    Not that I've tried to get off since I've been on zoloft but Testify, I can def. tell that it's not as easy to be turned on. It's amazing I haven't wanted to do anything since I've been taking it too. So I guess I'm having the same side effects as your wife.
