Well, I am not embarassed about ANY music I listen to...
But here is some "not very hip" music I listen to and like:
John Denver
Jimmy Buffett
Beau Dommage (french canadian folk)
Great Big Sea
Simon and Garfunkle
Ray Gelato And The Giants Of Jive
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
Bee-Gees
Chris de Burgh
Beach Boys
Fabulous Thunderbirds
Mojo Nixon & Skid Roper
Ramones
Sex Pistols
Dread Zeppelin
And believe it or not I also like all those 80's pop bands which I *HATED* back then (Pet Shop Boys, New Order, Information Society...)
I guess as you get older, you broaden your horizons...

Okay I fess up I love opera. It's my favorite music to listen too. I like Luciano Pavoratti, Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. Yes I have Andrea Bocelli's DVD. I always thought it was gay but then I was forced to listen to it and enjoyed it.
Alright now here's the worst thing and I hope I don't get flamed to hard but......I own all the Boyz II Men cd's.....shit now I lost all AR respect

Hee hee my boy laughs at me when I sing along to "The Wall" or one of the live Jimmy Buffett CD's in my car
(yet, strangely enough, he loves it when we both sing along when it's his Weird Al CD's in the player!)

Far too many to list, a bunch of Red's are actually pretty cool.
Sandra
Phil Collins
Middle Eastern
Sting
Madonna
Chris Rea
Fleetwood Mac
PJ Harvey
Yanni
Now i know some of those are classics and all, but I guess some find it weird for a 21 year old

Somehhow I doubt *any* funny song is a good idea at the gym I'd just start laughing like an idiot and drop the bar on my head! hee hee! Would give a whole new meaning to "skull crushers"
Oh and my boss ain't a problem anymore... seems she has timed herself to not be there when I am... (wooo!)

Knowing Red's luck, that would be the boss's favourite song, and she would invite him over to a sing-along, and tell everyone in the office

Imagine the old winfried-lauder lady from Drew-Carrey... thats my boss! And of course she doesn't like me very much.
A duet with her is about as likely as Ozzy Osbourne having anal sex with Barbra Bush on the front steps of a kindergarden in Omaha.

There is this song a sorta downloaded simply by accident, however, im not sure who sings it. Maybe one of you boys can help me. Here are some lyrics
"One night in bangcock and the world seemed troubled, and the angles looking back at me, and there's a angel standing next to me" I think thats how it goes. Now this song is gay as hell, but i like it
anybody know who sings that song?

The song is "One night in bangkok" by Murray Head (a one hit wonder)
One Night In Bangkok
Murray Head
Bangkok, Oriental setting
And the city don't know that the city is getting
The creme de la creme of the chess world in a
Show with everything but Yul Brynner
Time flies -- doesn't seem a minute
Since the Tirolean spa had the chess boys in it
All change -- don't you know that when you
Play at this level there's no ordinary venue
It's Iceland -- or the Philippines -- or Hastings -- or --
or this place!
One night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster
The bars are temples but the pearls ain't free
You'll find a god in every golden cloister
And if you're lucky then the god's a she
I can feel an angel sliding up to me
One town's very like another
When your head's down over your pieces, brother
It's a drag, it's a bore, it's really such a pity
To be looking at the board, not looking at the city
Whaddya mean? Ya seen one crowded, polluted, stinking town --
Tea, girls, warm, sweet
Some are set up in the Somerset Maugham suite
Get Thai'd! You're talking to a tourist
Whose every move's among the purest
I get my kicks above the waistline, sunshine
One night in Bangkok makes a hard man humble
Not much between despair and ecstasy
One night in Bangkok and the tough guys tumble
Can't be too careful with your company
I can feel the devil walking next to me
Siam's gonna be the witness
To the ultimate test of cerebral fitness
This grips me more than would a
Muddy old river or reclining Buddha
And thank God I'm only watching the game -- controlling it --
I don't see you guys rating
The kind of mate I'm contemplating
I'd let you watch, I would invite you
But the queens we use would not excite you
So you better go back to your bars, your temples, your massage parlours --
One night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster
The bars are temples but the pearls ain't free
You'll find a god in every golden cloister
A little flesh, a little history
I can feel an angel sliding up to me
One night in Bangkok makes a hard man humble
Not much between despair and ecstasy
One night in Bangkok and the tough guys tumble
Can't be too careful with your company
I can feel the devil walking next to me

It's a pretty cool song
Starts off sounding like something out of a Marakesh harem, and then goes into a catchy 80's pop song.
The song is actually used a lot in high brow fashion shows and stuff like that.

Ever hear of benefit? He's a rapper that pretty much sucks and raps about funny things like midgets and super mario.
"life's got me mad, but if i had a midget i'd be glad
to watch him jump around on my nintendo powerpad
Short legs short arms big head and long torso
the name of mypet midget would be little gordo
I'd teach him tricks like back flips and side kicks
company'd come over, he'd perform and get tips
in the kitchen at night, when i'm eatin he'd be able
to get the food scraps that i threw under the table..
etc. Really funny song.
