    Citrus on Steroids?

    Can anyone tell me what a Navel is? Is it natural or is it genetically altered? To me it looks like an Orange on the Juice.

    A navel orange is an orange, it grows on trees in warm climates, high source of vitamin C...

    funny you mention naval oranges... I got mugged by a little old man today at the grocery. he had some samples of imported red naval oranges. he said if I bought 4 oranges I got a 55cent off coupon... what the old fart neglected to tell me was how much they were a lbs. so I go check out, pay, get home, look at my reciept... I paid $7.70 for 4 fcuking oranges!!

    No, they aren't genetically altered. They are just a different species of orange.
