today i was contacted by the new hampshire health dept. thay asked me to take a survey so they could track an epidemic. after answering about a million questions i asked what was going on. i was told that there is an unusually virulent strain of salmonella that is rapidly emerging in NH and several other states. evidently people are getting VERY sick and they're trying to pinpoint the source. proper hygiene when handling meat and vegetables and thorough cooking of eggs and meat are a must. one interesting question as if i had consumed any peanut butter recently. i just wanted to pass on this bit of info.
