    Nerd question

    I need help updating my bios. Any ideas?

    If you know the bios it is........

    go to another computer... go to the internet, get a new bios on disc... and flash it by rebooting..........

    Good luck with this one...........

    If you have to buy a new computer when all is said and done... remove the disc drive from this one, and make it a slave on the new one.......

    they also make motherboards that will have a bios backup if this should ever happen again..

    Sorry not a simple solution...
