Question......Please look
Ok i have a PT test comming up soon. I have never been a very good runner. My question is: How hard is it to make one complete lap around a regular size track(440yrds) in 1min20sec?
Is this an all out sprint or a fast jog? Any help would be appreciated.

Do not sprint at the beginning...but don't think you can hold it all until the end. It is a slow run, but faster than a fast paced jog. I am basing this on the idea that you run about as much as I do...and that ain't much.

A minute 25 will kick your ass if you just jump into it and don't practice. But that's just me. I ran the 40 in a 4.5 and a mile in 8 minutes hehe. Maybe I'm just lazy when it comes to long distance.

What is the test for. Here where Im from we have to pass the MCOLES state test to get certified before you can fill out any LE application or apply to the academy. Then again you have to pass this MCOLES state test before you leave the academy. The running part is the shuttle run. You have to run 15 times around two cones, 88 feet apart, one whole trip back and forth equalling one trip in under 5 minutes.

Women over 30 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you, if they think they can get away with it.
For all those men who say, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free". Here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage, why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire Pig, just to get a little sausage.
