    AR site speed

    Is it just me? I've noticed in the past few days the site takes forever to load. Anyone else having this problem?

    The site is probably a little slower but it has twice as many people on the board all the time now..

    Just what I didn't want to hear. lol Ok, I will see what I can do everyone. We have had a surge in traffic on all of our websites lately, which might be slowing us down, plus that arcade is a major bandwidth hog. I bet it's the arcade that is slowing things down honestly.

    I come on Ar virtually everyday and I haven't noticed any speed delays. I think some of you really need to check your pc's or internet connections. For me, i'm on cable, and AR is fast as hell. Not sure if it is your connection or what not.

    I'm on an OC3. Which about 1,000 times faster than cable and the site is still slow.

    yes, I have noticed the loading time when entering the forums to be longer as well as the time it takes after you hit submit post to when you return to the forum taking longer...

    Well even an OC3 on a Pentium I 75MHZ is gonna be slow Just kidding, I'm guessing your PC is pretty good too

    2 dual G5s and a dual P4. All three have over a 2 Gigs of RAM. So it's definitely not my machines.

    it's slow and has always been slow, alot of web site not responding and slow loading pages, and my replys, by the time they go through, the question that was asked is already a day old, well maybe not that bad, but slow enough.

    If it's the arcade slowing things down can you run it from a different server or just get rid of it?

    Maybe have the arcade available on a set schedule? For example when I'm not on AR.
