    Free Credit Report

    where the hell can i get one without having to give out a credit card number?

    apply for a mortgage, you can get free credit reports with them all the time... But each time your credit is checked, there is a 'look up' mark on your report.. too many 'look up marks' can and will cause bad credit... only get a credit report when you NEED one, and dont keep doing it...
