Body Fat measurements...

so my friend at GNC hooked me up with a body fat caliper. I used it and it only takes measurements in one spot, on your side. According to it i also am 25% body fat but i know im no where near that, im just beginning to see my abs.....so what gives, how accurate are these things.

not very. i believe its only around 65% accurate. if your getting your bf tested spend the money and get it tested by way of water. i believe that is 98% accuracy.

Is it a pinch caliper or a electronic caliper??

Most pinch calipers are used in 3,7 or 9 spots. You should have a chart with it.

its a pinch clipper, the only spot it shows to test is just above your thigh bone. It says to do it 3 times and take the average.

yeah, that wont be very accurate at all. I would get rid of it and get a new one or just find a chart so you can do at 3 or 7 point test.
