Usually in the winter it's long pants and full sleeve sweat shirt for me. In the summer it's a simple t-shirt or long sleeved shirt. You wouldn't catch me dead in a beater at the gym. It's too tacky. I am not there to show off or admire myself.

i think its disrepectful to the gym and others when you wear a tank or beater and you have pit sweat splashing on the ground and equipment. at least with a shirt you may have a wet shirt, but its not dripping like it would with nothing over your arm pit
go home and jerk off in the mirror if you need to see yourself that bad imo

Good call. I have been wearing 2XL shirts to the gym lately myself. I dont think I have ever worn a beater unless everything else is dirty.

I usually train at home, and I wear anything from just bra and panties, to nothing at all. But I did find a nice gym (well, actually a gay men's gym) a few days ago and they let me train there. Hey, as long as I still got the plumbing, and the "M" on my driver's license, gay guys think I'm just an extra, extra gay guy. Well, I wear a big sweatshirt over gym shorts in there, so as not to advertise my boobies too much. Really, like 95% of the guys in there are gay through and through, and seeing breasts might upset some of them. But I will weigh in on what I see and what I like to see. I really don't think there is a minimum size where a wifebeater looks good on a man, but if he does not have a very tight waist, it looks pretty bad. Same with going shirtless. Shirts are optional in the weight room. One guy really disgusts me. He is about 50, big bushy moustache, barrel chest with no lats, and a keg instead of a six pack. He trains in his tighty-whiteys, ankle socks and keds, and no shirt. He is really obnoxious, always hitting on guys, including the few straight or straight-ish guys who train there. You can't get into the steam room without him trying to fondle you. But anyhow, without a trim waist and visible abs, shirtlessness does not make good fashion sense in the gym, and without the tight waist and complete absence of love handles, the wifebeater needs to stay at home in the sock and tshirt drawer. One young man comes in there, and his arms are certainly not over 16", or at least not much over, but he has very detailed delts and probably a 28" waist, and it makes me just want to chew that tank right off his bod! So my advice is to not worry about how big you are, but how lean you are. the wifebeater looks good on a lean guy, even a fairly small one, but the biggest guy looks gross in one if he has a sloppy midsection.
Love
Anna
