Weird question about bubble gum and gas...
Alright, this is kinda weird, but yet serious.
Last couple times I've had some pretty bad gas, slightly mixed with diarrhea, but mostly just gas and upset stomach. Now, I was wondering, can this be related to chewing gum? Now, you must understand, I ask this because I chew a lot of gum, not just like one piece of trident a day. I jew like bubbelicious and hubba bubba gum, and shove like 2-3 pieces into my mouth. And I'm guessing by doing this, chewing a lot and creating bubbles, i end up swallowing a lot of air, is this possible?!
By the way, the obsession with the gum is that having braces on for 4 years, once i got them removed, i got this new obsession with gum. And every now and then i go through a phase where i just gotta chew and chew like 3-4 times a day, maybe more.

I'd say, you'd be more suceptable to hiccups then polluting the air!!!!!!! lol... Your diet is to blame.. For instance the glorious melodies and foulness from increased protein would be the culprit..

oral fixation..........
drop the sugar........
it could be attributing to the issue........... but yea....... it's probably the extra protein......

is most likeley protein or something in your diet...
but here's something to consider, though I doubt this has anything to do with it...sugar alcohols (commonly found in protein bars and sugarless gums) can cause gas, GI distress, cramping and bloating. Usually takes a bunch, but some people are more sensitive than others.
