I have an old Diebold safe. Bet one I've ever owned. If you can get your hands on one that's not too old, I'd go for that. Here is good site to purcahse safes for home use:

office depot or home depot. but make sure you get it bolted down cause anybody can pick it up and haul azz.
Uh...not just anybopdy is gonna pick up my safe....of course, I didn't get it at either of those palces you mentioned either. Mine wieghs 1080 lbs...empty. With approximately 60 firearms in it and lots of ammo....it won't be picked up and taken away.

no sweat swell i can walk right out with it j/k. ive got a big un for my rifles but i also have a 2x2 in the floor for cash, gear etc in think this guy is talking about a small one in that case i would suggest bolting it to the floor or something you never know!
plus i would keep it maybe in the closet.

my safe is great, it keeps prying eyes away and gives me a sense of security that no one can just walk in and see my bad stuff.
