start up applications
ok,here is the deal i am operating on windows me,i have some applications when i hit control;alt;delete,i know i dont need them all,i do have spyware installed so i know none of them are spyware,i do know i need the systray,but am not sure about the rest if anyone can help me here i would appreciate it..

hi there press the start button then go to run..
and in there type msconfig.

then the system utility manager pops up and in it you will select the startup tab.
In there are some boxes u can unmark and they will not start the next time u start windows. Good luck.

not sure how to take a screen shot,but here is what is currently running......explorer,netzero(my server),x1 exec(im assuming thats high speed),lexplore,winmgmt,exec,systray,and printray......dont know if this helps,but i appreciate you helping me.......thanks bro

hi i donīt know anything about windows me. Try closing these 2. winmgmt,exec. by pressing ctrl + alt + del. if your window stilll works after closing these. Then you can remove them from the startup

ME was one of the worst operating systems ever 2000 is much better, but if you can get xp.........that's the way to go..........

Actually i heard WinME was one of the only OS that didnīt have all the security holes that the rest of win OS had. But i agree i like the looks of XP a whole lot more. Try and get desktopX and object dock from stardock. Makes your winxp look better then ever.
