Liar Liar Liar...Pants on fire
These guys really make me sick. I know its hard to think they would come right out and admit they used AS. But it really bothers me when they look into the camera (getting all mad) and vehemently deny they dont use AS. Annnnd now it comes out they did. When i saw Jason Giambi and how slimmer his face looked from last year. I mean, come'on Giambi 4lbs less. Ohhhh ok there buddy. My daddy made me at night, but not lastnight.

"ditto. so did they say that he was using for sure or just that he had possession of?"
the trainer admitted giving them AS.....so they had them in their possesion. but if u ask bonds or giambi, etc. they'll tell you they never used them.....sure thing guys..

I hear what u guys are saying. But IMHO theres a big difference between them and us. They are getting paid millions of dollars to play a game and we arent. I dont agree with them taking AS if everyone else they are playing against isnt. Im into a level playing field. Plus, most of us are taking AS to look and feel better. They are taking them to get an advantage over their opponents. Again IMHO theres a big difference.

OG, I know what you're saying. It doesn't bother me so much that these guys juice. Its the level playing field issue. Either MLB needs to get serious and institute an effective drug policy, or legalize the use of and supplement and drug. I think the first option is the best, but neither will likely happen.
We have already entered a new era concerning records, and at some point we have to admit it to ourselves. There was the "dead ball era" and now we have made even more progress that renders fair comparisons to the past impossible. Facilities, training, diet gurus, supplements, drugs, and the money that drives all of these has distanced the contemporary athlete from even the athlete of the 1970s and '80s.
In the end, there is no turning back the clock, but there can still be a level playing field. That should be the priority.

I agree that AS shoudl be completey legal or completly ilegal in each sport. whose the best batter in history? not sammy, miguire or bonds..... I say Hank Arron or the Babe.. It not fair that their records are being taking because people today are taking AS and the league has turned their backs on it for years.. not too mention that the players who do use AS now are at a unfair advantage to those who don't. In 30 years every sports record will be held by someone with good talent to begin with but then used AS.
Would you sit down and take it if #99 lost his records to some schmuck who uses GH? No ****ing way! I think its a horrid thing to see the new equipment come out that totally changes the game. Look at the size of goalie pads?? but those bit ches on Ken Dryden and see how much he would ruin Roy.
Sports are about talent, desire and the willingness to train harder then anyone else.. Not the latest drug/equipement that will take your mediocre skill up a level

I think all pro-ball players should be on juice it should be mandatory. As much sh*t as we buy and the price of tickets and as much as they are payed the minimum wieght limit for a running back should be 300#.I want to see big jacked up f*ckers tearing each other up and turning bats into toothpicks with every swing.

Wake up guys! Baseball is not a level playing field nor has it been one for many many years. The players juice to keep the field level. If you were in proffessional baseball and you were competing to keep your job, and everyone else is using AS and your not, your probabably out of a job. Thats the bottom line! I have alot of close friends in minor league ball that have personally expressed these activities with me. A very high percentage of these guys in the pros use AS and are going to continue to use them. It is there career and livelyhood. Alot of people on this board use AS for no other reason than to improve there appearance and self image. So how can we bash these players who do this to keep there jobs and play a sport we love to watch?
In addition.... If there was not players doping in the olympics, baseball, and other sports people would probably start to lose interest in the sports. How the hell do you think all these records are broke consistantly year after year! That why people watch, and thats where the money is at. Who wants to see an entire olympics or year of baseball where the participants compete at a much lower level than previous years. That would just be plain boring. Just my opinion!
