HOLY CRAP that was tight as hell
Holy F!
that lion was one tough motherfuker! Shiat....
BRO THAT MAKES ME VERY ****ING ANGRY.. Given the chance, I would kill everyone one of those people in that video.. Then bury them while they were still alive.. That would be my sport, If i was a hunter..
Thats fuking disgusting
couldnt agree more- i'm not a tree hugger and i'm in no way a "vegitarian" but it angers me when i see people hunting for "sport". even you guys that deer hunt and all that other jive- i just disagree with it (if you need food go to a grocery store; i believe technology has brought us to where we dont have to kill our food)
i'm rambling- but yea- those guys and guys like them piss me off

**** that... I agree, hunting for food is survival.. Big game hunting is for bragging rights in my opinion.. I'm not tree hugger, or bullsh!t vegitarian, or anything like that.. I think that is something for rich people to jerk off to when they get home.. It's pathetic, and those people are a waste of space..
Thats so fukin nasty I wish that lion killed one of those bastards....in all honesty I think that kinda sh*t is extremely cruel and I cant stand watching it. I was hoping that the lion would've gotten away and it really came pretty close. Maybe those Euro trash scumbags should be let loose and I can hunt them down with a high powered rifle. I'd much more enjoy killing them than killing some animal.
Let's not turn this into an anti-hunting thread...if you don't like to hunt...so be it...but dam...don't condemn all of us that do....it was just a fuking animal...keep that in perspective....a tough animal...but that is all....
...where do you think the food at the grocery store comes from....they were animals that were killed....you just didn't have to see it....animals in the wild don't have preservatives and shiat like that added....
Yeah bro an animal that doesnt deserve to be hunted down and killed. It's got just as much right as you do to be here. Its like someone taking your dog and shooting it. It's an animal but the thing still feels pain and fear and doesnt want to die. And the animals that are killed I eat....I really dont see lion on any menus around here. If they want a challenge than enter one of my sambo competitions and we'll see how big their balls really are.

game animals don't the same rights as humans....matter of fact, humans have the right to hunt game animals....regarding shooting dogs...coyotes are fun to shoot....of course, a bird dog that doesn't hunt isn't any fun to shoot, but it happens....that's the way life is.....Originally Posted by USfighterFC

lol- this is going to get silly.. i'm not an animal rights activist and i dont like hunting- so i'm not sure where that puts me; all i was saying is that i wish that lion would have taken that pricks head off..
Maybe they should start making game humans......i would def pay to hunt some of those. Look i'm not knocking you...to each his own but I just find that killing for sport is so unnecessary.
yeah...I understand....kind of reminds me of human's fighting for sport....where's the logic in that.....2 human men doing harm to each other....now that's a sport that makes sense.....

sorry for the sarcasm....just pointing out different strokes for different folks....just because you don't agree doesn't make it wrong....

have fun with it bro.
You're right it doesnt make it wrong it's just I'm very much staunchly against it....but like I said...to each his own.
really not trying to be a d!ck....I just hate when people start jumping on other people for soemthing they don't agree with, or understand for that matter....Originally Posted by USfighterFC

No...I'm really not...somebody above talked about people that hunt deer being wrong...saying go to the grocer store....I can appreciate that some people don't understand nor want to hunt....I just hate it when people jump on hunters when they don't realize what all hunters do to contribute to wildlife.....Originally Posted by monster.
i can't see things like that....i'm to antisocial.....and i don't need to be more.....but i wish i could be there to teach those mother ****ers that brazilian jiu jitsu can hurt more than a shot
I will say this......no animal should have to suffer like that lion did....a quick death is the decent thing to do...all hunters will agree upon that....or at least they should....shooting an animal like a lion, the guys should have been a better shot...no doubt....practice makes perfect....or use a higher caliber weapon....
The difference between fighting and hunting is that the animal never has a chance to win. Give those hunters bows, and then i wouldn't be so ****ing disgusted by them.
i wasnt condeming anyone for deer hunting- and i do understand what it is that you are doing.. i just see it a different way.. i dont like hunting; therefore- i dont hunt.. i'm not telling you not to....
Oh...I always stand up for what I believe in real life...hunting has nothing to do with "being a man" or whatever....It's just something I grew up doing and appreciating.....Originally Posted by USfighterFC
You should all come have dinner at my house sometime....probably one of the best meals you would ever have....
I do support hunting in some ways....like if the local wildlife population exploded like deer here on Long Island and it helps out the eco system then yeah hunt away and if people hunt something and eat it afterwards then yeah go for it. Just the fact they want to cut this lions head off and throw it on their wall is what I dont like. Especially if that particular species is going to be endangered soon. Plus the fact it looked like it was in a fenced in area.....at least give the thing some kinda chance.
cool....I'm not a fan of "canned" hunts either....some people are...not my cup of tea....but I won't wish for their death just becasue I don't see as much sport in it....Originally Posted by USfighterFC
You know what really gets me...how many animals are killed a day in animal control shelters...anyone can own a domesticated animal....not have it neutured....let cats run all over the neighborhood breeding with other cats....they should be ashamed of themselves....tens of thousands of cats and dogs put to sleep and burned everyday....I think that is inhumane.....IMO....
Those guys were idiots. I'm not about big game hunting, but he had to be the worst shot ever. It's called shot placement. RR

the shelter thing gets to me too- me and my fiance used to volunteer at one when we were back in SC- ended up taking one home,(ABSOLUTE BEST PET IVE EVER HAD-still have him) its just sad seeing all those abandoned and neglected animals there...
I feel the same way....... I wish that lion tore those f'ers up. At least the lion didn't go out without a fight.Originally Posted by monster.

LOLLL... I'll jump in this really quick, even though i said i was done.. TTGB, I find it funny how you try and compare animals at a shelter and game hunting.. I don't believe that they have anything to do with eachother.. Gamer hunters, pay big money to go on vacation in the middle of nowhere and shoot at wild animals.. Here's the difference animals in shelters are 'domesticated' and would not last in the wild, and humans being the dominant species we are, have to control the population of cats and dogs because their owners are weak, and not responsible enough to take care of their pets, I look at that as mandatory..Originally Posted by tryingtogetbig
Please do not bring up 'humanity' in this thread.. There is nothing humane about some bozo shooting at a lion charging him, and missing!!!! He shouldn't be alive in the first place.. As for hunters you guys get your kicks sitting in the woods, and then bragging about what you tagged.. Oh well, I don't find that fun.. There is no comparason with hunting, and euthanizing ((spelling)) stray cats and dogs though..
haha.. now i'm finished
First of all, we don't know the situation at hand, who knows maybe that lion killed someone? heh, if that was the case then yeah shoot the thing dead. But if that was for sport, I wish that ****ing lion would of killed that guy. If you wanna hunt, go shoot a ****ing bird, a lot harder to hit! A lion is a beautiful and exotic animal they shouldn't be be hunted, aren't they an endangered/protected species?
That clip really got me angry, next time i'll refrain from watching that ****.
thats because you people dont know anything about hunting - certainly the guy was not a good shot - but he almost paid for it dearly - I am of the opinion if you are going to hunt something - why not something that can hunt you back? make no mistake - except that one fellow stood his ground when that lion charged him (and how many of you could do that) and put another shot into the side of him just before he sprang - and the incredible luck of that fella to have turned his side to the spring - that lion only needs one swipe to break his neck - I will also agree that it looks like the lion may have been ranched - but that is because hunting trophys is now a very regulated thing over there - a lion costing about 10-20K just in taxes ad so they only give out so many permits per year so that they can keep up all of the game parks that keep all of them alive - otherwise the locals will go kill ALL of the lions and other game (as they almost did before the govs started getting the idea to get a big tax on it and make a biz from it) So if you like lions you should kiss those fellas rich white asses because it is people like them who are paying for the entire game reserve - unless you fellas want to start paying american tax dollars to africa (oh wait, we already do). wake up chilluns, and welcome to the real world
Let me tell you something else - sure you see these guys come up on the lion in daylight - but it isnt so easy to find them and most take several days (if you find one at all and maybe only 30% of the hunts who pay a LOT of money and have a very rare permit do) and put out bait to get them in the area - but the problem is that the lion may well find you at night before you find him
most dangerous critter in the US and EU to shoot? hogs! razorbacks will come after you even after you pump them full of bullets and if they get you down all it needs is one tusk slash to the main artery in your leg and you are probably goign to bleed to death out there.
