If you throw a good party....

or bender, shindig, hoot-'n-anny, whatever, I need your advice.

A good friend of mine and her suitemates are throwing a themed party sometime soon, but aren't able to decide of a good theme. We were brainstorming last night, and I figured I'd come here for some feedback. Here's a few of our better ideas to give you an idea of what we were coming up with:

*Movie Character Party: come dressed as a movie character
*Halloween in April: self explanatory
*Sports party: also self explanatory
*Beach party: nice potential for skin being shown, bring in some sandbox sand, tarp the floor and have a good ol fashioned beach party in doors
*Toga Party: very cliched but they become cliches for a reason

Any suggestions? From experience or otherwise.....

I had a "pimps and hoes" party once it was a blast..... Plus the chicks dress all sluty hehehehe

I threw a 70s theme party last year which was awesome.....I downloaded a bunch of old 70's music.....wore an outrageous costume....it was awesome....

NO NO NO.... Big Green you tell her to have a pajama party.. Make some flyers up, and pass them out... have a few kegs, and a small bar set up, have someone at the door charging if you want, and no one enters the house unless they're in pj's.. We did this a few years ago at my friends house, and there was a H U G E turn out, especially women.. Everyone dressed up, a few in lingerie, but the majority in pajama's ... I can't tell you how many beautys showed up in boxers and a baby-t..

That is the best idea, take pictures when you have it you lucky bastard.. If it's a bash, someone hang by the door and collect money for the alcohol, and of course nobody enters without pj's on..

Pimps and Ho's parties are always pretty good. You can also do pajama parties, those sound interesting.

Most of our big frat parties here have themes such as, Beach Blast, 70's, Pimps and ho's sorta thing, Hawaiian theme sorta the same as beach blast but we have those torches and lays and flower shirts and all that good ****, the classic greek and toga party, man i could go on forever, but the hawaiian and the beach blast are the biggest ones for some reason, probably because all of the nakedness..

i was just on a pub crawl and the theme was reverse sterotypes.....best costume forsure was a few of my buddies who dressed up as guys on their periods.

Here in WI some of the most fun parties I've been to involved large bonfires. There was once we went to a bonfire at this dude's house who just happened to own a junkyard. We burned 3 couches, a pop-up camper, tons of tires, a motorcycle, and too many pallets to count. We all got super rocked and some people ended up driving sh!tty cars in a field racing and bumping and stuff. Ahhh, the glory days of underage drinking. Mark
