Strange request

Does anyone have or know of any sites that show good covering letters to go with your CV.I had a brillant one and managed to erase it this morning

Any help would be greatly appreciated just looking for ideas/tips/format the CV is OK

I think you US guys&gals write a resume a lot different to a cv?
