I had a "PC parts and contruction" class in high school so I remember the basics, but I'm looking for a book to help me out. Anyone know of a good one?

The instructions that come with the individual parts are fairly informative bro. Knowing what you need is the complicated part.... and making sure everything is compatable.
For Dummies has a pretty good book. I bought about three books when I built my computer a few years back. But the For Dummies book was pretty good by itself.

This is a great book, I use it when I need to dick around with hardware.
MAN, this is old. No worries. I'm the computa masta, now! Already built 4. Pretty simple really, and no book was needed. All folding for the man.![]()
Yes, this book is ancient but it is a great hardware reference since legacy crap is the only hardware that is likely to give you problems. Nowadays Windows is smart and reliable enough to do all of the software side hardware configs, almost to the point that hardware books are useless.
