I have a very general question, Does Testosterone need to convert to DHT in order to be effective at building muscle?
I think DHT plays a role. I have not had any problems using a dht inhibitor on cycle. I have seen great results. I think proscar/propecia is a good way to reduce hair loss side effects, it eliminates 70% DHT so there is still 30% available. Each person will respond differently but when you look at test results something like 83% of people stopped hairloss or regrew hair. Pretty solid performance. It is a balancing act and it depends on how important your hair is to you. Some people have a nice shaped head, others don't!
