Back in the early 1980's Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis, from SCTV, used to perform a skit in which they played stereotypical Canadians (wool hats, parkas, work boots) named Bob and Doug McKenzie. They even released a movie called "Strange Brew". They used to sit around, eat doughnuts, drink beer and call each other "hoseheads" or hosers for short. Their trademark phrase was " Take off eh!!"

I never thought hoseheads and canucks would come up as a subject, but I guess that's what the board is for. If anyone wants to talk about anything , I say go for it.
