Depends on age.
D
I think anywhere from 600- 900 is normal but not positive. I read some post with a guy that got his checked while on a cycle and his was 5000 or something outrageous
depending on which studies you look at it is between 300-900 i believe.
man if yours is that u are fine. mine is 107 which is terrible
107? that seems very lowOriginally Posted by blackh2

Please note (as I've said in many posts before):
Taking 200mg of testosterone cypionate per week is more than twice the higest normal level of testosterone produced by the body.
While on HRT of only 200mg per week of testosterone cypionate, my total testosterone level was greater than 2000 ng/dL. This is why a person should be able to grow on a low dose cycle.
sounds right. thanks for the correctionOriginally Posted by BASK8KACE
Clinically HRT is about 60-100mg of TE per week... this would be a replacement dose to help an androgen deffecient male...
For bodybuilding... >300mg of TE per week provides the best anabolic benefits...
HRT is usually given at 100mg ever other week up to 400mg per week, according to the insert of the Depo-testosterone (formerly made by UPJOHN, now made by PHARMACIA--a branch of PFIZER).Originally Posted by Warrior
Most doctors prescribe 100mg per week or 200mg per week. Only doctors who are not very aware of HRT methods prescribe every other week doses. The spike then drop off of testosterone when using every other week doses can cause the patient complications such as depression and lethargy.
I don't agree with flat statments without proof such as what you wrote: "For bodybuilding... >300mg of TE per week provides the best anabolic benefits..."
Since there are many people on the board who have gotten exceptional results using 200-300mg per week, including me, I disagree with your statement about doses greater than 300mg of testosterone per week providing the best anabolic benefits. If you have supporting info on this, please post it.
SIDE NOTE
Quite a while ago, I had posted something touting the benefits of moderate to higher doses. I later deleted it when I found that it wasn't the doses that made the huge difference, it was the fact that I had changed my doses AND drastically increased the amount of food I was eating. I decreased my doses and continued to eat well and got excellent results.

Seems like you just want to disagree... but I have read from clinical research that the best benefits are from doses >300mg per week of TE. Once you hit 300 or more certain new effects happen for increased muscular hypertrophy. Because I can not pin point the exact exert I read that in awhile back, I can not give you a qoute or link. But you just take my word on it... or not... whatever... but the benefit had something to do with an increased response from satelite cells... either way - I will always preach a minimum dose of 300mg of TE when using testosterone as a PED...Originally Posted by BASK8KACE
I NEVER said that you can not get gains of a simply doubling your androgen levels... I said, maximum benefits have been recorded with doses at or above 300mg per week of TE... you can challenge me on that if you want... but I don't make sh!t up...
50mg of TE per week may be used in some cases - but 60mg-100mg is more the norm from my research... either way...
Absolutely! I'm stuck in my home on a Saturday doing work. I was hoping to get a good discussion out of you. But you didn't bite.Originally Posted by Warrior
Regarding the HRT info. My doctor is one of the leading HRT specialists. He's a world-wide spokes person for one of the large testosterone mfg. companies and he's a leader of an international conference of doctors on the subject. I'm just repeating info he has given me or that I have found on my own and discussed with him.
I've never heard of any instance where test enanthate was given at 50mg per week for HRT.
Regarding requesting quotes and information to back up statements:
I'm not being obnoxious; I'm asking in order to learn. Too many rumors catch on because people convincingly state information that has no facts behind it. Everytime I've presented info in a discussion, I've tried to back it up with references and documented evidence so that it doesn't look like I'm just repeating something that sounds good.
I DO TO... I hope many know by now I am not a copy and paste poster... I find info and interpret it in my words... and generally quote a credible author or abstract - but in this case I don't have it... I am 99 percent sure it is in the Taylor book I have sittin' back in the states... bahhh... you certainly are trying to bait meOriginally Posted by BASK8KACE
