Have a sore shoulder. It is the muscle not the joint. What topical creams would be good to use during training?
Thank you.

rubs that are avaialbl;e to the general population at the drug store suck ass. The heat dose not penetrate enough to do good. Its MUCH better to ice muscle anyways. 20 mins on then 20 mins off.. repeat.
there are some rubs that are very hard to come by that are VERY VERY hot and penetrate deep enough to give benifits.. but like I said cold will heal better then heat.
For almost a year, I've been on temporary disability with knee injuries (both knees were operated on recently) and the doctor's office have been giving me BIOFREEZE. It works pretty **** good for the joint pains. But on days when I would go to the gym prior to going to work (light duty, of course), I would rub some on the muscle that's burning at the time and it kicks ass royally.
It comes in gel tube and roll-on (perfect if you wear contact lens). The dr. office gave me a small bag filled with sample packs that I take to work with me. And it don't smell like Ben-Gay.
IMHO, the only thing better than this would be Flex-All 455 Gel (not lotion). Good luck, bro.http://users.pandora.be/eforum/emoti...ers/fing32.gif

I've used Tiger Balm and it is good but expensive, there is another on that is a chinese one called dragons blood that my acupuncturist used on me years ago.
I use BioFreeze for any sore muscles and it seems to work pretty well...
Where do you get biofreeze is it a prescription?
You can buy it online..I get mine from from my local chiropractor...Quote:
