does it increase RBC that much that it can cause blood clots very easily and cause strokes or heart attacks or anything of that nature?

Not as far as I am aware of.......those problemsaren't caused by an increase in red blood cell count anyway.
Here is how EQ does its thing: Erythropoietin (EPO) is a hormone produced by the kidney that promotes the formation of red blood cells by the bone marrow. Erythropoietin stimulates the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells. The result rise in red cells increases the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood.
