Clomid during cycle

Well like most of us i'm informed as to using clomid during PCT. However lately i've seen a few posts of running clomid through the cycle and during PCT. What are the advantages of using clomid during cycle? Keep the size of the soldiers?

i wouldnt have thought clomid during cycle would keep the size of the soldiers,

and wouldnt it possibly hinder gains? im gonna have to read up on this one, ive only ever read about it during pct :|
