wow that is strange... wait for more replies, surely someone will know what to do in this case, however I do know that you should deny everything if you want the best shot at avoiding conviction.

This is their new-found sense of humor-- sending you the letter inside the original box. Throw it away and forget about it, just like you would a normal seizure letter. If it were me I would also close the MPO box too.

Two Questions.
In this same package was there other stuff, other than the letter, that was allowed through. Although I have never heard of USC putting the letter in the same package, I have heard of the removing contents before.
How reliable is your source. Its very possible it could have been sent from the source, wrapped like this-to make you think USC siezed your shit.

burn the box and leter.. sorry to hear about your bad luck... some suppliers carry insurance for that so befor you burn the stuff ask if he wants a copy of the letter.. hope that helps
