Actual protein from meat like lean chicken breast and egg whites is the best. But besides that as far as supplements go then yes whey.
I personally prefer Isopure zero carb, the reason is because it mixes so easily you dont need a blender or shaker it dissolves in water so well, also it has 50grams per serving wich is one of the highest compared to others. It is so light and it really tastes good, and i mean really!!! i am not just advertizng it actually tastes like any fruit punch juice or so.
Other protein shakes tend to be thick and gooey , i usually drink one and i'm full for the day!! wich sucks because then i cant eat like i'm supposed to. Isopure is so light it rules, and because it so pure man its just the best value.
However i do use Designer Whey Glycerlean before going to bed because it is time released and gives you a good protein supply for 8hours while you sleep!
Go with when ususally (after workout, mornings, etc.) and casein before bed. Casein is digested at a much slower pace.

I think its best to diversify, my main supplement source is whey but dont neglect soy, milk and animal protein as well.
On 100% whey is good stuff. 72 servings, 23g a scoop, 3-5 grams glutamine 5 g leuicine, alphaketo..etc. its good stuff. it costs about the same as powders with 40-50 servings.
And its even better w/ two scoops, 3 tablespoons of dex, and a scoop of malto, mmmmm.Originally Posted by IronReload04

There are a lot of wheys that mix well. I add flax to slow down digestion when I want, so I just use whey.
I was told not to take soy and ion exchange. Soy doesn't have the aminos in the right amounts. Ion exchange is a chemical process that doesn't have 20% of the protein.
