getting a job in the gym....

just wondering if anyone knows of gyms doing drug tests for employment? my gym asked me to work there and i need one so i might give it a go, but wondering if most gyms test and if they test for juice or just pot or what?

Well my gym which happens to be Gold's seemed to have a thing with hiring the known gym sources. I am not saying they did this on purpose but its pretty convienient to have the dealers at the gym for 8 hour shifts.

Although the current gym i work at didnt ask for a drug test, the last one (which was a chain gym), did have me take one. I think it only applied to trainers tho, not desk jobs.

Why the hell would they spend at least $300 for every potential applicant for a roid test... dude unless youre an olympic athlete i wouldnt worry about it at all

Same at the Gold i go to.... When i signed up the guy who did all the paper work asked me if i wanted to get some Dbol too......

I use to manage a gym and im actually gone start working there again here shortly. They never tested me.

i have worked for five different gyms, none tested me, but 2 of them used to before i got started, i wouldnt stress over it

i can kind of see why they would i might look a little bad on the gym's part if their trainers are all gassed up! and o ya Maraxus ... don't hate! there are guys just as big as you or bigger in this world ya know!

I wouldn't stress over it.. What's the worst they can do. Not hire you?? Move on to the next gym. There's hundreds of them.

I worked for a local Bally Total Fitness as a trainer and I was tested but not for steroids, all they tested for was THC, cocain hroin etc. drug tests for steroids are much more expensive.

I currently manage a Ballys and we don't currently have any drug testing policy...if so, I'd have to start looking for a new job!

I got drug tested at a gym and when it came up positive for aas they gave me the job, said i was exactly what they were looking for.
