steroids an cholestrol levels
I just came off a test/prop cycle and had some blood work done. Every thing is fine. I get me test levels cheked in 1.5 mo.
But my cholesterol levels are through the roof
LDL=262
HDL=323
They told me Adjust my diet....But my diet is already way better than mast the worlds.
My question is.......Are my levels way out of wack because of my cycle?
and........How long after coming off do they return to normal?

HDL greater than 60mg/dl is a good thing. Not for sure if it can get that high??
LDL greater than 130mg/dl is a bad thing.

Yes those numbers are right.
she (some nurse)told me that anything over 130mg/dl was high for LDL and anything over 200 was high for HDL

Testosterone comes from cholesterol, but your body makes enough of it's own cholesterol for your natural test levels. When you are juicing I do not know what happens. Maybe your body produces cholesterol in ratio to the testosterone in your blood. Perhaps someone with more biological knowledge could comment?
Testosterone comes from cholesterol = FACT

HDL reduces your risk of coronary heart disease. Not for sure if it can get too high?
130mg/dl and above is a risk factor for Heart Disease.

I was only off 6 days when I went in to the doc. I was on
100mg prop ed
75mg tren ed
and 100mg cyp ew (cyp was ran throughout small cycles and as a bridge)
bump for more input

are you sure the number you stated for HDL isn't the number for total cholesterol? especially based on your nurse telling you that over 200 is high (that is what the cutoff is for total cholsterol). as far as HDL is concerned, i don't believe that there has been any concensus as to what is too high.

Numbers can sometimes be meaningless. Its all about the ratio's so you need to find the total cholesterol. Too high is a indicator for heart attacks. High LDL can be caused by liver problems as this is where it comes from. So get your liver enzymes check and I would get a second opinion too.

this is high. i just had mine checked. it was pretty bad. i am guessing your triglycerides were high also. this should give you some further clues. regarding cholesterol, like bluethunder said it is about the ratio. your ratio very high. since my diet has been clean for the last few months the recommendation to me was high intensity cardio in 40 min sessions three days a week or more or at least one long session and few smaller sessions. i hope this helps.

To answer your questions, your results are most likely a result of your cycle. I don't recall the half-lives of the cyp, tren , and prop off the top of my head which would most likely affect how soon your levels would return to normal. You would probably start to see your levels come back to "normal" about 6-8 weeks after the 5th half-life of your gear. This is my best guess and maybe someone out there has better information.

Thanks for all the input, it is all very helpful
bump for some in the medical feild that may have experience with AAS and cholesteral levels

The tren and the DHT from increased test will raise LDL, and AAS in general will lower HDL. An AI with no nolva will lower HDL even further.
Policosanol is a good lipid supp (OTC) at 20-30mg/day.
Cardio will help some too, but AAS WILL skew lipid levels....the goal is to limit this
