    Accutane & Weight Loss

    I am currently taking accutane at 80mgs a day and one of the listed side effects is weight loss. Can anyone explain why with no other changes (training, diet, etc) accutane can cause weight loss? Thanks.

    impact on liver. accutane also impact hormone levels, particularly reducing DHT and lowering SHBG.

    all these impacts can affect anabolism, catabolism and appetite.
