I am about to start a cycle and I am curious to know how far back you pull on the plunger 1/8cc or so?? Thanks.

just until you see air bubbles or blood come back into the syringe, by then you'll know if ur good or not

If blood is an issue, will it pull it back in right away?
what is the point of this? to make sure you are hitting the blood system and your juice is being circulated in the right area?
So you are not in a veinOriginally Posted by Physical_Specimen
When I did my first cycle, I never pulled back on the plunger when I had the needle in me . . I just got the air bubbles out of the needle, inserted the needle in my ass and pressed down on the plunger . . . Was I doing this wrong? is it significant to aspirate?
very wrong....If you ever inject in a vein you will know why. You will not die...but you sure will think you are gonnaOriginally Posted by Physical_Specimen
Always aspirate
alright, I have read up more on aspirating and am farely clear on why it CAN be important . . . only question is, when do you know that it is safe to inject? after aspirating . . . .
if you aspirate and are in a vein, you will see blood immediately. you only need to pull back slightly.
when you see little bubbles...(not air, they are caused by the vacum and will go away once you let go of the plunger) and no bloodOriginally Posted by Physical_Specimen
Yea, if you're going to get air, it'll be a little difficult to aspirate. This is caused by the vacuum meaning you're in the muscle and not a blood vessel. Just pull it back a little bit. You'll know right away if you're going to draw blood.
awesome guys . . . so evidently, if I draw blood, I take out the needle. Put a new needle on and poke in a different location . . . This is something I did not know, thank you for educating me and helping me avoid any problems . .
PS
This why we are here
When you aspirate, is there little to no resistance OR slightly resistant? Thanks.
slightly resistant indeed!
should be resistance...not a little, but not alotOriginally Posted by dogsofwar
Great thread, very helpful thanks guys.
You'll feel suction if you're in muscle. If not blood will flow in with much less resistance.Originally Posted by dogsofwar
In a manual I read about IM injections it stated to aspirate for 5 seconds just to be safe.

I have a hard time staying all twisted around for that long, but nothing bad will come of it.
Better really safe than really sorry.
