Black floaties in gear
It is UG test e. There are maybe 2-3 shots left in the vial and I noticed these. I noticed them on my last vial with about 1 shot left. I injected it anyway and no knots or infections. It settles so I can minimize how much I draw but I definitely injected some.
Let me describe it: You know after you change the Brita water filter in the Brita water pitcher there is black stuff that settles at the bottom in the first couple pitchers. It looks like that but really, really fine and small.
Could this stuff be from the gear filters? At least I don't think it is microbial, so I am hoping the BA sanitizes whatever it is. I just worry about this stuff being taken up in my bloodstream.

it's probably little bits from the rubber stopper.

Who knows what it is. Could be anything. Some labs are less sanitary than others. Be more careful and dont use it if there are impurities!

It's probably from the rubber stopper getting cored, what size pin are you using to fill the syringe. If it's too big it will cut little pieces of the stopper and that's what is floating around. I would definatly not inject these. Either just avoid them or you could buy a syringe filter and another sterile vial and filter them out, but with only 3 shots left it's probably not worth it.

No it is definitely NOT the rubber stopper. I use 23 guage to draw, so it is not that, I leave no hole at all.
This black dust is also REALLY fine. Think of one grain of sand but a thousand times smaller for each black thing. All the black things together make up TINY cloudyness. Shiit I am worried now.

No. They are black and settle at the bottom. If no one has a logical explanation, I just won't use this lab again. Do the gear filters have black filter media in them?

No, I think the filter media is white. Besides that would be a pretty poor filter if it resulted in soiling your solution!

Most likely impurities.

If the gear crashes, would it be white? I don't think it would be black.

What color is the rubber stopper? Gray or Black

Crashed gear will be kinda clear, like crystals.

The only reason I might still use it is I did one injection with this stuff in it on my last vial. Nothing bad happened. What could happen worse than an infection?

Well I have been using the stuff for 6 1/2 weeks. So I don't think another week and a half would make that much diff. I really wanna squeeze on 5 more lbs. This just really sucks.

Might take longer than 6 weeks for something to show up, you never know. It's all a guessing game. No brainer...your health, or 2mL's.

One more question though, why wouldn't I notice this stuff till the vials got low?
Something weird is going on. Do the needles give off any black residue? I notice some of my needles have a TINY tinge of black on them. They are sterile though, never opened.
