Yes, I don't really believe in credit cards all that much. I think you need one for emergencies, but my policy is never buy anything you can't totally afford. Credit Cards can get you into trouble, so I don't mess with them. I don't even like ATM cards. Call me old fashion, but thats the way I think.

If you're going to only have one credit card, it should a mastercard or visa. Everywhere takes those two, but AmEX rocks!

Georgie if you don't believe in credit cards then try Amex.
Discover is just like Visa or MC but with the kickback program.

discover is accepted everywere. my discover card is the card i use the most because i have the lowest rate on that card.
