don't they prescribe tetracycline ?
or derivatives thereof. Minocycline. Not because they work particularily well for the microbes, but rather because its the only class of AB's that sucks so bad we dont care if resistance develops from people TRYING to get rid of acne with ab's
that is what my doctor prescribed back in high school. had acne on my back and face. after about 2-4 weeks of using it, all my acne was gone. it never came back once while i was on it. good stuff.Originally Posted by KeyMastur
Antibiotics for acne are a horrible "long-term" solution, and should only be used for a very short period of time. Numerous problems can arise from using antibiotics over the long term, and I myself can attest to that - I now have candida due to my extended use of minocycline and tetracycline over the years.
Topical retinoids along with a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide solution, B5 and gugglesterones would be a much better (and healthier) solution for most acne problems IMO. Diet alone can actually cure it as well - although it would be a drastic (and therefore difficult) change for most people on a typical Western diet...
yeah antibi's arent that great....they didn't do sh!t for me....i have only broke out on my last two cycles but isotrex is a sure cure though it is harsh....its accutane gel...pm me for details on getting it....
patothenic(sp) acid aka b5 is pretty good....i'm taking 5 grams ed right now and have kept it in check....though its when i'm coming off my cycle that i start to break out so we will see if it works in another month or so....
product called "b5 clearskin" did miracles for me.... do an online search.
Just want a couple of options standing by for PCT just in case - not gonna use anything long term
Antibis are so cheap - would be stupid not 2 have some kicking about
Gonna go for some topical Retin-A type cream too
thanks for the input guys
My doc gave me some penicillin type stuff can't remeber the name not tetracyclin though. he knows im juicing and suggested it. seems to be working well no ill effects.
