I got some homeade prop which is hard to draw and shoot. I heard you can heat it to make it a bit thinner. I've heard about 10 sec in the microwave vented. Should i be worried about it being too hot to inject. Thanks

its easer to set in a pan of boiling water not sure about the whole microwave thing
microwave???? hmm i just always let it sit in hot faucet water for 10 mins
what are you using to draw with.......i had problems drawing with a 22 so i moved to a 20 and still shot with a 25, it was slow but it shot relatively e-z. I dont know about the whole microwave thing either, set it in a pan of hot water to be safe
do not put it in the microwave bad idea. your vials have aluminum tops rem that.
The tiny amount of metal doesnt matter in the microwave. I nuked it a bit while making it. I'll use hot water but i know a lot of people swear by microwaving.Quote:

i used hot water and it worked great.
What size needle are you using. Use a 21 guage and you should bo OK.
the metal handles on chinese food cartons make my micowave spark and ****. I run unber hot water for a few mins. always works for me.
i heat up a coffee cup of water for about a minute in the microwave, and then drop in the vial for about 20-30 seconds w/o vent. pan, pot, cup it's all the same, though i agree, the vial itself shouldn't be nuked.
