Why suspend test base in oil?

Can someone explain to me why the hell you would suspend testosterone base in oil instead of water? The oil automatically causes a time release delay, whereas the water permits it to behave as normal - rapid delivery. It seems that test suspension in oil isn't much better than propionate.

have you had experience with oil based TNE?

I havnt used oil based Suspension yet. But from what I hear from other people they like it because does absorb slower. And Suspension is suppose to be less painfull in oil rather than water.
