Okay, when filtering the solution that has 3 separate layers, do I suck up and push through the filter the top two layers but not the bottom white one? Thanks for replies.

Anyway, got another question. Is it okay to still have a small dark brown layer on the bottom of the final product? Should I inject that too?

Finally, what gauge pin does one recommend sticking in the vial when baking for sterility?
