If it's not in the muscle the shot is pretty much useless.
You should be using a 1 and a half inch pin when shooting the glutes.

lets say we've got someone who is no more than 12% bf. is there anyway a 1.5inch pin is going to NOT hit muscle if its stuck all the way in.
im only asking because i had such a pain free injection last time i wondered if i hadnt hit muscle somehow - the shot was a quite on the extremities of the upper outer quadrant of the glute....

If your injecting in the right place there's no way you wouldn't hit the muscle with a 1.5 inch pin.Originally Posted by weightshead

sometimes the glute shots dont hurt a bit, other times they can sting a bit. all depends on the technique used to shoot i guess.

I remember reading somewhere that the steroid is still absorbed if it is injected in fat, it just takes longer.Anyone have some hard data about this?

correct that is why insulin is injected into fat.... cause it takes longer to absorb

When i do glute shot, i usually shoot into that little crater place that shows when you flex your glute like on the side. IS that the right spot? Or have i just been wasting 4 weeks of tesotserone and equipose? lol
