i tell the doc everything.
i havent told my doctor yet but it seems ive read places about insurance costs being raised if they know ur taking them. not sure if this is a myth or actually true....
i did now he gives me the blood tests i need anytime i need, hes a good guy i guess depends all on the relationship you have and trust in the doc
me too, nothing much good can come from lying to your doctor.Quote:

it's funny i was debating this question myself my doc has known me since i was like 10 anyway i did tell him and he was cool as hell about it, he said if i had any problems along the way to not hesitate and call him also will run blood tests on me anytime, anyway i'm glad i did
my doc knows as well as my endo, they are monitoring me during my current cycle!!
The doc has also been a close family friend... you should be able to tell how your doc will react, if you think he'll flip out and call the insurance co.... i wouldn't open my mouth!
I tell my doc everything, he can't help me or know what to look for if I am withholding information from him. I really don't think a doc can contact insurance to rat you out. There are the HIPPA privacy laws that protect you from that sort of thing.
jay man is that you in ur avatar??

Always use the term, "Hypothetically speaking Doc, what if..."
i was thinking about telling my doc but he knows my father tooo well
Ever heard of Doctor/Patient confidentiality? The Doc cannot call your insurance company, or the cops for that matter, if you tell him you are using AAS. He could lose his license, or at least get reprimanded by the Medical Review Board (which is a major blemish on his record).
I do agree with Ronny though, don't let them write anything down, b/c if your records are seized for a criminal case then you are hosed.

He could also report you for being obese, chronic masterbation, smoking, drinking too much coffee, prescription medicine addict, clinical depression..Quote:

i will never tell my doctor **** about my steroid use again i told em i took d-bol he thought it was some type of new steroid that he never heard of
I haven't told my DOC but I am very cool with a RN 2nd in command in the surgery room and she knows her $hit...She gives me all the shots on the glute every mon-thurs...its cool like that, as for telling your doc. ask him how is the personal info. disclaimer handled "patient confidentiallity"...if he says its him and you only then yeah, its cool to say
