I recently came across an article in www.bodybulding.com where it was stated that Deca is worse at keeping gains than D-bol, or Anadrol 50. I though that Deca was awesome for keeping gains as long as the usual provisions where met? What is your experience with keeping size and strenght after a Deca cycle? Also, is Deca good on its own for a newbie?
lots of people do deca only cycles and many have good results with it.
as for keeping the gains you ARE going to use clomid post cycle i hope! also you should remember that deca makes (most) people carry a lot of water and as soon as you stop with it that water will be lost. of course a fair amount of water size goes with it.
dbol also makes (most) people carry water and the same water loss applies.
when you lose that water you will also lose some strength as well. this up and down is something you learn to live with and you must adjust diet etc accordingly to keep lean muscle gains between cycles.
Clomid for sure!!! Thinking about 300mg 3 weeks after last injection, followed by 100mg for 10 days, 50mg for next 10 days. (21 days in total).
i am not an expert, but i have done a deca only cycle.it was my first.igained 20lbs off it and kept about 15.it was also at very low doses.personally i like deca,i get good quality muscle with it .i would take in more protein wile on a cycle that uses deca,and you should think about stacking it with at least test you will get more out of it
Make sure to take Test with Decca or you'll be faced with Decca Dick. Not fun at all bro.:cry:
i think it varies with people how much water they retain with deca, drol, or dbol. the more water they get the more they think they're gaining, but just lose it when the cycle is over and this makes them think they're not keeping the gains.
also make sure to take the clomid.
