how do you work these amps?

I just got some organon amps of sust and ive never used amps before you just snap the top off and draw it out with the syring right?
one more question if the pin touchs the bottom of the glass amp wont that dawl the tip of it?

not unless you ram the tip of the needle into the bottom of the amp. an easy way to open it is, put the tip of it vertically against something like a kitchen counter top, and take a spoon and nock the very tip top of it. dont hammer the amp, but do it gently so that it breaks, but it doesnt mess up the rest of the amp.

yep,..now counterfeits are completely different, but real organon amps will break like they're scored....

i just use some tissue paper and wrap it around the tip of the sus and just bend it until the tip breaks .. no problems so far.

if you have alot of amps and will be injecting eod then you may want to purchase an amplule breaker, you can get them at small drug stores, and they are cheap and very easy to use.

Since you'll be using an alcohol swab to clean your injection site, just put that over the amp and snap it off. I place the amp in my L hand, with my thumb at the scoring mark, cover the tip with an alcohol swab, put the thumb of my R hand in the front and my index finger behind and snap it off. Good luck.

i use the top of a bic pen, just put it around the amp and snap it off.

I always change needles as I draw using a big pin then inject with a smaller one to minimise scar tissue and only need a shorter one

listen to some of the fellas, invest in an ampule cracker. great buy and really is inexpensive. also theres no real way to jack it up by breaking too much or anything else.

just file a little mark on one side of it and itll break clean, i find if i dond file it the top will shatter very easily..

This is an old thread. Just score the amp with a knife or scissors then hold it in a piece of cloth or tissue and snap it against where you have scored, easy!
