Newbe and His first cycle; care to evaluate?
38 5'10" 171lbs at the start
100mg/cc Test prop, 1cc eod and 25mg proviron bid.
Not looking for serious mass or gains...I understand that...
Weeks 1-3...noticed NOTHING. ZILCH. So I dropped the proviron to 25mg daily because I had read somewhere online...it could inhibit muscle growth.
Weeks 3-4, Injected 1cc every day, I'm up 6lbs, look bigger, no pumps or jumps in libido. Oily skin..some zits...Totally dropped the proviron.
I'm at the end of week 5. Still, not that excited. I felt stronger when I was using 1-AD!
I think my first cycle was a scam. Truthfully, I feel exactley like I did when I took the prohormone, M1-Test. But even then M1-T made my libido go NUTS.
Any thoughts? I plan on running this for 8 weeks. Just very disappointed.

also for ur 1st cycle test e at 500mg/week woulda been a lot better. prop will not give u the size that test e or cyp will.

no but prop is a fast ester, so it kicks in quickly. also it can give you as much gains as e or c. both those test are slow esters so they have a tendency to hold more water than Prop. prop gives for better lean gains. Im taking prop right now for my first cycle and im on my third week and up 10 lbs. I do have a great diet and workout routine though to balance it. But the thing is that im not looking for monstrous gains. Only about 20 lbs if i can, but i wont let it get lower than a 15lb. gain.

Thanks for the quick responses.
Again, 5'10" 175lbs currently (Aug 2003...159!!!)
My diet is typically:
Commute: 2 scoups of ON Whey w12oz/2%milk ~50+g's of protien, low carbs
Burger King (I know) Bacon/Egg/Cheese crossant (Protien...) some carbs
Lunch: Always...Chicken Breast Salad from wendys or McDonalds...sensible on dressings
afternoon snack: One Way bar...30g's protien...moderate carbs
With workout or post workout: 2 scoups of ON Whey w12oz/2%milk ~50+g's
Dinner: Chicken or a Fish dish, NO carbs, leaf salad only
Bedtime snack...cottage cheese
And I am addicted to Microwave popcorn...[/SIZE][/SIZE][/SIZE]
My take...the Shi% is fake. I'm really bummed because I put up with the painful injections every other day!!!
So I guess I'll stop the injections and begin my pct.

Here my take. You eating to lose weight at best. I think you're eating right about 2000 calories a day. How are you going to gain weight on that? Your protein is too low, and your carbs are too low....way too low. Basically your diet is pretty bad, but you know that. You need to find your maintanence level, and exceed it. I recommend you go read the stickys in the diet forum, to get your diet in line. Diet is about 80% of your results.

Hey Ab,
Diet is pretty bad huh? I appreciate the advice, how about some help. I take it that I am needing 1.5g of protien per lb of body weight, but I cut the carbs and fat on purpose...thinking that it's all about protien. I'll hit that review...thanks for the advice. Never too old to learn. Thanks!
