    needle?

    what is a good needle when injecting in the gluteus??

    3ml syringe,22 gauge needle, 1 1/2 inch in length
    or
    3ml syringe,23 gauage needle, 1 inch in length

    23 X 1 woundn't get deep enough into the muscle... use either 22 or 23 x 1.5....the syringe size is up to you...i have shot 4 cc's into glutes before with abcess problems....i don't know how effective it is....but never had problems...
