Taking a few days off (on cycle) benificial or not?

I just got back from a short 4 night getaway with my gf, didn't get to workout but kept my diet at 75% I'd say which is good for a vacation for myself anyway.
Today was my first day back and between the odd sleeping hours while I was gone and the time change I'm exausted and just aren't in the right condition in my mind to hit the weights even though I'm dieing to.

Would it be better to take this last day off and try to recover more fully to get back into the swing of things or try and force a half assed workout?

I haven't taken any time off from my routine in about 3 months, is it about time anyway?

after 3 months its definately time man, take a good 4-5 days off and youll be ready to kill the weights when you get back. I think it will benefit your joints most of all

A lot of people take time off to recuperate mentally and physically. Usually2 weeks every 6 months is about right.
