on/off days when on cycle
hey guys, i was jw what some of yalls training splits look like, esp. while on cycle. i used to split it up like this:
monday-legs
tuesday-chest
wed-shoulders
thurs-back
fri-arms
but lately ive gone to push day (chest/tri), pull day (back/bi), leg day and shoulder day. i know rest is key to growth, but i also know while on cycle you recover much faster, so my ? is how should i split up my days and how many days a week should i rest?? FYI im taking test cyp @ 500mg/week and anadrol @75mg ED and trying to put on all the weight humanly possible.

can't really comment on needing less/more rest on cycle but beause im not sure, but:
why do you do legs on the first day of the week?
i do mine on friday because it gives me 2 days to lounge around and recover . my split is:
mon- chest+abs
tues-back+biceps
wed-rest
thurs-shoulders+triceps
fri-legs
sat-rest
sun-rest
granted its not 5 days a week like yours but just curious as to why you do legs on monday so u have to suffer for the rest of the week

Heres mine;
Sun - Legs
Mon - Chest
Tue - Bi's
Wed - Ab's & Traps
Thur - Tri's
Fri - Back
Sat - OFF
The 6 day split works well for me on cycle, I usualy do 5 days while off, never had a problem recovering. Just get plenty of sleep

this is wut i do:
mon-chest and bis
tues-cardio
weds-back and tris
thurs-cardio
fri-shoulders and legs
sat-cardio and wutever i missed thruout the week
sun-off
ive been into super setting lately so thats why i do it like that.

Mine is chest back sat...legs sunday... bics and tris tuesday , shoulder and traps on thursday, gives all my parts time to rest and have three days off.

Mine is:
Monday - Horizontal push/pull (chest presses/rows)
Tuesday - Quads & Bis
Wed - Rest
Thursday - Vertical push/pull (shoulder presses/pulldowns), tris
Friday - hamstrings, lower back, traps
Sat & Sun - rest
I do 3 exercises per and 4 x 8 for each exercise
