just had a new tattoo yesterday, a half celtic band around my arm. didnt think at the time that i might not be able to train cause i might strech the scabs. dam it might have to switch to cardio instead now. you guys ever had this problem?

Haha...thats a problem you could avoid by not getting a tattoo in a hard training period. If you wanna get inked up then do it on a "off" week.
Well now is a good time to train only legs and cardio.. I once had to stop playing basketball a couple of weeks beacuse of 3-4 piercings I got in my face, it sucks, but thats life.
I wouldn't worry about it if its on your arm. Just dont do any preacher curls or any excercise where your arm would be rubbing on something, i think that would be the only way you could stretch the scabs.
remember to keep the bacetracin ointment on the tattoo at all times to avoid the scabs from stretching, i worked out after getting mine. you should be okay, just dont over do it.

why not go all the way around the arm instead of doing half?
ya i was going to get inked up on my back and left pec but he asked me if lifted and stuff - he said especially on the back it could f- it up!!

keep it moist and dont rub off the scabs. I dont train friday saturday sunday so when I get tats I do it thursday after my workout it gives it some time to heal.
